Job Description: 

The Desktop Engineering team is responsible for ensuring all enterprise desktops and laptops remain compliant from a security patching perspective.. This position is dedicated to Security remediation and is critical for Compliance purposes.

 

 

• Drives and owns the resolution of incidents, involves the appropriate resources and ensures fixes are implemented as quickly as possible

 

• Identifies reoccurring issues and work with IT & Business partners to remediate using the problem management process

 

• Communicates to business and technical partners on incidents as they occur when they impact system security and/or application security

 

• Contributes to monthly reports on the security posture of the organization, including security related topics and events

 

• Monitors and controls all security related tools, including but not limited to SIEM and vulnerability

 

 

Provide mandatory security patching across the enterprise for all Microsoft Products, Adobe, Java, Firefox, Chrome and any other vulnerability remediation effort driven by Info Security.

 

Strong Technical skills with at least experience working within a large company and executing enterprise desktop deployments. Expert in IBM's End Point Manager application as well as packaging technology. Must be reliable and responsible as the position is an ADMIN function and has corporate wide ability to perform adds/changes. Expert in enterprise desktop patching processes.
