ASA Security Engineer
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Duration: 12 m contract (MUST BE USC OR GC)
Must-haves
- ASA 5585, 5555, ASA Cluster, multi context
- Lancope absolute must have
- F5
- Remote access VPN and DM VPN
- Nexus
- Routing/switching â€" OSPF, BGP
Plusses
- CCNP Security
- SourceFire
- Spanning Tree
Day-to-Day
This Security Engineer will be in touch with internal customers where they willl be responsible for building ACLs, troubleshooting connectivity issues, routing/switching, setting up application access on DMZ, and deployment/troubleshooting WSA issues. They will also be expected to troubleshoot F5 issues, doing basic set up.
They will be working extensively with ASAs for access , troubleshooting, and DMZ.
The application team is migrating from one company to another company that broke off, so they need to do firewall builds to provide access.
