Position::Java developerSkill Set
• Strong skills in Java, J2EE and associated technologies.
• Knowledge of J2EE concepts (Servlets, EJB)
• Knowledge of frameworks (Spring/ Struts)
• Knowledge of application servers (Weblogic/Jboss)
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting performance issues
• Experience in Java Portlets, Struts, JSPs and XML.
• Prior Experience of working in a large support and maintenance environment.
• Excellent and matured communication skills required at client side and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with clinical and Pharma domain would be a plus point.
Good to Have
• Application support/maintenance background
• Knowledge of performance tuning tools
• Knowledge of Webservices
• Documentum/ DMF Framework
• Good knowledge in Oracle 10g or higher (PL/SQL).
• Experience with large, global health science applications will be considered.
• Trend and impact analysis to recommend remediation/improvements based on their implications on IT maintenance and business use.
Roles and responsibilities
• Lead the technical implementation of all requested application changes.
• Work very closely with the offshore team to assign the tasks to them and follow up with clients for all the information requested by offshore.
• Address critical issues at onsite.
• Review and test the deliverables before handing to clients.
• Provide regular updates to the customer on the ongoing work.
• Provide technical solutions to the problems/enhancements.
• Client management and coordination with various stakeholder teams in the project
