Manage Data Intern Program and Next-generation Data Analytics Pilots in support of SoTech initiatives.
High-level knowledge of data management, analytics, open data, data sharing challenges, political sensitivities concerning data; general business knowledge of what Executive Agencies do; ability to facilitate work across multiple agencies, vendors and universities; ability to navigate the political landscape
Candidate needs technical background/skills so they can manage the program, however, this is definitely not a technical role.
Will work at both VITA offices (downtown Richmond and Chester) as well as the office downtown Richmond.

- Program Management
- Ability to interact at executive level, and across many parties including universities and vendors
- Data Management / Maturity Assessments
- Use Case support and business case formulation
- Open Data Guidance and Recommended Practices
- Data Sharing Policy support
- Knowledge of Data integration
