Duration: 6+ months

Location: Lafayette, LA

C2C Bill Rate: $45-$50/hour

 

Description

Client in Lafayette is looking for a skilled Teradata Developer to join our growing team at our Onshore IT Services Delivery Center. The ideal individual will fulfill the requirements below.

 

Position Description

1.      Proficient in writing SQL – Simple/Medium/Complex SQL's – this is the key

a.      Needs to have strong navigation in both 3NF and Star Schemas (denormalized)

2.      Proficient in SAS – Base SAS & Macros – nice to have

3.      Basic Operation knowledge of UNIX…

4.      Table Loads, Updates, Inserts, DDL – Teradata/DB2/Oracle

5.      Must Have: Able to debug complicated codes, recommends the fixes required and fix also. Data Analysis is key.

6.      Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance after Initial training on the environment.

7.      Good to have - Healthcare knowledge/experience past experience with Claims, Provider, Eligibility

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least 2-5 years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
