Job Title : Project Manager
Location: Herndon, VA.
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (expected renewal)
Required Qualifications
5+ years' experience leading a small to mid-sized development team.
Candidate must have development experience with 10+ years' experience with two or more of the following:
Development experience with Java, HTML5, JSP, JSF
Development experience with ColdFusion
Development experience with WebServices, SOAPUI, REST
Development experience with SQL, PL/SQL
Development experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or similar
Development experience with Eclipse, IBM RAD
Development experience with XML
Development experience with Oracle Mapviewer, Spatial
Development experience with various Reporting/BI tools
Development experience with HP ALM
Development experience with VersionOne or similar Agile tool
Demonstrated expert level of proficiency in the use of computer languages and utilities necessary to support application development
Demonstrated ability to lead others and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Demonstrated verbal leadership and the ability to mentor project developers
Able to design and build systems that are integrated with other client systems
Experience with code versioning and change management concepts
Experience with full life-cycle software applications development (i.e., design, construction, testing, and implementation)
Experience with requirements definition and specifications design
Demonstrated client interaction skills and abilities; work in a team environment, on-site in client facility
Preferred Qualifications
Able to perform the complete system life cycle phases from project initiation, analysis and requirements, design, coding, testing and
implementation
Experience with an Agile development team desired.
Experience with management systems dealing in contracts, properties, and accounting
Able to adhere to client development standards and SOX compliance Additional Provisions
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
