Job Role: CISCO UCS Engineer

Location: Various (all USA based)
Duration: 12-24 Months
Travel: 25-40% expected, Remote 60-75%

Description:

We are going to have multiple needs for Cisco UCS engineers in 2016.   In short, the client does Cisco UCS design / optimization projects within Fortune 100 clients.  These assignments will be all over the United States and some will ultimately be in high cost areas.   To date, those assignments typically have a request to find a local resource within those areas as traveling someone in/out becomes cost prohibitive.  

Consultants  will likely be assigned to 2 or 3 clients at any given time and if good, could stay on with our client for 2-3 years. 

 

we are only looking for consultants who clearly have design experience within the Data Center concerning Cisco UCS infrastructures.

1) Cisco Data Center UCS Engineer (5+ years experience designing / implementing / troubleshooting UCS within large enterprise clients)
2) Broad technical knowledge of the Data Center and its components: Applications, Storage, Network, Servers
2) Experience with Cisco best practices for UCS designs / UCS Director 
3) Experience running healthchecks / optimizations of UCS installations and making recommendations
4) Experience in environments running multiple PODs within the enterprise
5) Experience operating within challenging client environments and being able to provide / explain recommendations
6) CCIE in Data Center or R/S preferred
