Role: Hadoop Administrator
Location: Austin , TX
Duration: 12+ month
Interview: Phone/ Skype
Years of Experience: 5+
Note: Visa Copy & ID Proof Mandatory..
Qualifications Basic:-
1. Hadoop Administrator
a. Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up Hadoop from ground up and managing the Hadoop cluster with size of 500 TB and or 60+ nodes
b. Experience in Horton work HDP distribution is highly desire. However, equivalent of the Cloudera experience can be considered.
c. Candidate need to show experience in YARN, Ambari (or Cloudera equivalent), HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Spark
d. Jave programming Skill is a plus, at minimum need to able to troubleshoot the Hadoop system issue caused by Java code.
e. Basic understanding of Big Data Concept
f. Architecture Duty:
i. How to leverage the Hadoop platform to help ADM to gain business insight
ii. Offer consultation and solution on the integration with AMD systems such as SAP, EDW and the like
iii. Requirement gathering
g. Administration Duty:
i. Capacity Planning
ii. Recovery Planning
iii. Performance monitoring
iv. Security Management
1. Note: We are in process to integrate the Hadoop security with AD, the future security will be managed through AD group
v. Patching and routine maintenance activity
h. App development and support:
i. Sustaining the grid reporting data integration ETL process
ii. Develop new code or enhancement to Grid reporting ETL codes or other data projects
