Description:

 

1.       Our client is embarking on a project to implement Oracle's PeopleSoft HFM applications as the Global solution for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Budgeting and Planning functionality.

 

Major Job Responsibilities/Results:

1.       Assist in the implementation of the following Oracle applications.

A.     PeopleSoft General Ledger / Accounts Payable / Cash Management

2.       Responsible for defining and validating all global General Ledger / Accounts Payable /  Cash Management and budget and planning business requirements with the US business areas

3.       Create functional specifications for the global general ledger, accounts payable, cash management and budgeting and planning application for the US finance operation.

4.       Develop, document, and implement module configuration.

5.       Develop and document detailed functional and process design.

6.       Assists Finance Lead with global chart of accounts redesign.

7.       Input into overall system configuration.

8.       Document key decisions made by the US team throughout the project lifecycle.

9.       Identify and manage Risks and Issues.

10.   Actively involved in testing.

11.   Participate in fit/gap analysis.

12.   The successful candidate will be expected to participate in, or depending on experience drive other project activities including:

A.                  Data Conversion

B.                  Reporting

C.                  Training

D.                  Post Go Live support

 

Required Skills, Knowledge and Behavioral Characteristics:

1.       BA – Accounting / Information Technology.

2.       Certified Public Accountant a plus.

3.       5-7 Years Experience.

4.       Insurance industry experience required.

5.       PeopleSoft applications design & implementation experience.

6.       Effective communicator.

7.       Systems and Process driven.
