Summary:
Work with the IT Manager and Project Leader on staff to create a test plan and develop required test scripts and perform the execution of these scripts. Work with the team to enhance their testing skills and build technical test release installation/update procedures.
Project Description:
The Department of the Auditor General is in the process of rewriting its in-house Audit Tracking application. Testing the new application will require developing a test plan, creating test scripts, and executing the test scripts.
Role Description:
• Defines product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
• Develops, updates, and maintains testing standards and procedures.
• Resolves testing process questions / issues.
• Assists in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments.
• Coordinates and executes assembly or product tests with the Test Team, Application Team and the Program Manager.
• Determines time estimates and schedule for work efforts.
• Meets time estimates for assigned tasks.
• Follows quality standards.
• Able to work in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
