 Job Summary:

 

The Systems Administrator has a key role in managing and supporting Healthfirst data enterprise infrastructure.  The MDM administrator positon will be a key position within I/O team, providing both System Administration and support for MDM, IDQ and other Informatica tools for Healthfirst enterprise echosystem.  

 

The role will require interactions with application development community and core infrastructure support teams to deliver the platform support needed. Systems Administrator must have strong communication skills, teamwork, as well as ability to effectively prioritize and manage a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

·  Delivers high quality solutions in adherence to Informatica technologies methodology

·  Assists developing logical and physical database schemas, stored procedures, interfaces, and extensions to large enterprise proprietary solutions, primarily focused on the MDM initiative.

·  Provides design, architecture and development support to MDM projects requiring real–time and batch Data Interfaces in compliance with data reference architecture.

·  Implement MDM and IDQ solutions (multiple domains) based on project timelines and promote the adoption of best practice standards.

·  Own the physical unit of administration work "end-to-end" from concept to production, covering each phase of the deployment cycles.

·  Collaborates with other IT organizations to understand and monitor 'best practices' for technical development and administrative methodologies and tools.

·  Share/leverage successful products, processes and best practices across technology domains

·  Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, etc.)

·  Refine and enhance technology methodologies and / or standards

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

·  Demonstrated experience of configuring and administering Informatica MDM, IDQ, Power Center tools in clustered and non-clustered environments.

·  Solid hands on experience in MDM Hub configuration, IDD configuration.

·  Worked on at least multiple MDM, IDQ, Power Center implementations configuring the Hub and creating composite web services.

·  Strong work experience of MDM implementations with Sql Server, Oracle Database technologies

·  Demonstrated experience of managing informatica environments on both Windows and Linux platforms.

·  Work experience of configuring JBoss, Weblogic with Windows and Linux in a J2EE environments

·  Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms

·  Thorough understanding of data modeling, physical schema properties, triggers, and stored procedures  

·  Working experience of multi data source configurations on application server.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Experience with UNIX and shell script programming/ Experience with high level Windows administration

·  Working experience of DB2 running on IBM iSeries platform.

·  Ability to automate administration tasks, perform capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning and administer security

·  General understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools

·  Experience with optimization of high volume databases, and large, distributed J2EE applications

·  Ability to "think big" and grasp the overall picture, including the business drivers
