We're looking for a Front End AngularJS Developer with a passion for writing clean object-oriented, reusable, readable, enterprise-level software that scales and performs well. You will join a team of like-minded individuals running 3 week sprints to replace our legacy manufacturing planning platform into a cutting-edge single page application.
Our new application is making extensive use of COQsoft TreeGrid and Gantt Run Bar Chart, AngularJS, HTML 5, CSS 3, and JavaScript. We are unit testing our AngularJS/JavaScript with Jasmine + Karma. Developers are expected to meet minimum code coverage on all JavaScript code. The client will connect to a WebLogic/Java Server via RESTful Web Services (JSON).
Core Competencies: AngularJS 1.3+, CSS 3, HTML 5, JavaScript, REST Web Services, Jasmine unit testing
What you'll do:
· Use object-oriented design patterns for separation of concerns, code reusability, security and performance
· Develop and implement robust client-side solutions
· Work closely with back-end developers to ensure the integrity of the UI throughout the development life cycle
· Translate agile software development stories into reusable units of functionality
· Guide/mentor junior developers in terms of software design, implementation, and best-practices
What you offer:
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent
· Minimum 10+ years within front end development
· Must have strong AngularJS, CSS 3, and JavaScript experience
· Unit Testing experience is a must, Jasmine experience is preferred
· Expertise in developing large single-page applications (SPA)
· Practical knowledge of web page optimization techniques and guidelines for fast page load times
· Extensive experience with work on a large project over a long timeline with multiple developers in a version-controlled environment/adapting existing code
· Be able to self-direct and handle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Be able to meet deadlines and complete projects in an efficient way
· Experience in Test-Driven Development is preferred
· Experience in Responsive Web Design
· Have the ability to collaborate as a strong member within a team environment
· Have excellent communication, planning, organizational and time-management skills
· Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
