Seeking a Database Administrator with VERY STRONG Access DB, Teradata and conversion experience
Job Details:
10+ years application development and implementation experience.
Convert existing reports, primarily in MS Access but possibly also in SQL (SQL Server SQL & SSRS), to a new Teradata environment.
This is required due to a loan servicing system conversion, so the underlying data will change as well as the datamart from which it comes.
The conversion will take place on 9/30.
Additional Information:
Some of the Access databases are moderately large (about 200 objects, mostly localized tables and queries) and are moderately complex (macros that call out to resources but little-to-no VBA code).
Some data in these databases is no longer needed.
The consultant will determine the best conversion strategy (e.g. convert As Is vs. re-design to a greater or lesser degree).
Required:
High level of Access DB expertise.
Prior experience with systems conversions.
SQL Server with SSRS packages.
Ability to code in Teradata SQL.
Beneficial:
Prior banking or financial industry experience.
