Job Description:
• 6+ Years of experience in Cognos 10 in an AIX environment
• Cognos Framework Manager - DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational) and Relational Modeling
• Report Studio - DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational) and Relational report development
• Query Studio
• Cognos Connection Active Reports - new with Cognos 10 Business Insight and Insight Advanced (new with Cognos 10)
• Oracle 11g
• Toad
• Quality Center
• SQL
• 6+ Years of experience in Cognos 10 in an AIX environment

Basic Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:
- Knowledge of Business Intellligence tools and practices.
- Understands the Cognos product suite and recommends the best use of the functionality.
- In-depth experience with Cognos Report and Query Studio
- Experience developing Framework Manager models
- Relational database experience
- Develops queries, reports, and end user applications to meet business requirements
- Identifies opportunities and implements procedures for continuous process
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles
- Knowledge of fundamental data modeling techniques
- Demonstrate a proficiency in SQL.
- Insurance/Reinsurance experience preferred.
- Candidate should be able to thrive in a fast paced team environment.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
- Understands the Cognos product suite and recommends the best use of the functionality.
