Oracle EBS 11i Application DBA Support (Oracle EBS components)
-Application DBA Support is 24x7 and includes
-Night & Weekend migrations to production
-Night & Weekend refreshes/cloning of production to non-production environments
-Support of Weekend Maintenance period
-Health Check and Status Monitoring
-Monitor 24x7 the EBS for database locks and kill when appropriate. Also respond to request from the operation center to investigate potential locks.
-Monitoring of all Oracle Application Processes like Reports Server, Forms Server, Concurrent Manager, Discoverer etc.
-Monitoring of Concurrent Managers, including the load on the Concurrent Manager Processes, to ensure that no particular Oracle Concurrent Manager Queue is consistently having Pending Requests.
-Monitoring any long running concurrent processes, and suggest remedial actions
-Oracle Application Management
-Startup and shutdown of all Oracle Application Processes including those tasks which are being completed on an ongoing basis and considered necessary for the ongoing support and performance of the Oracle Applications / Database. All such tasks will be defined and documented during the Transition Planning services and reviewed with EMD Millipore.
-Maintenance of Applications Users, Responsibilities, Menus, Report Groups etc., i.e. any task related to Oracle Applications System Administrator
-Creation and maintenance of Applications Printers, including supporting any printer drivers that may need to be installed
-Oracle Applications Tuning which includes performance tuning at the Applications Tier Level i.e. monitoring the JVM and Oracle HTTP Server for any issues
-Maintenance of Concurrent Managers. Suggestions for creating separate queues, or work shifts for the concurrent processes will be included as part of the monitoring activity.
-Ensuring that all the Purge Processes for Concurrent Manager, Workflow and Application Logs are running regularly and have been scheduled
-All functional testing after the clone / refresh is the responsibility of EMD Millipore.
