Job description:
Project is to create a site consisting of Enterprise dashboards, so that their Enterprise customers can login to the site and see their monthly usage (how many of their employees are using Company products, what amount has been used to date/how much is left on their contract for use, etc).
He shared the analogy of when you log into AT&T to see how many minutes you have left on your cell phone - that's what they are creating. He needs 2 people in any configuration (straight Tableau developer, Tableau developer with JavaScript, or straight JavaScript developer).
It would be better if they had Tableau as there is a strong need for Tableau skills at Company, and these people may find other opportunities at Company after Larry's project. This is a 95% coding job – to specifically customize Tableau reports, so that they look nice, etc. - the development is around the visual aspects of the reports.
The design has already been done by their UI/UX team. The project will go through February/March of 2016.
