Job Title: Lead Python/Django Developer
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Work Location: Marlborough
Min Requirements:
Has implemented multiple Django projects from ground up, not just contributions to existing projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, to interact with multiple areas of the department.
Understands best practices in Django regarding database integrations and data modeling.
Self-motivated, with ability to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision.
Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL MySQL is the preference.
Has experience with relational data modeling, 3NF and dimensional modeling.
Writes clean, well-documented code and takes the time to refactor.
3+ years of Django experience.
Preferred:
Have projects visible on Github (open repos with examples of past professional or personal work
Examples of documentation for past projects to prove communication abilities.
Has led or contributed to a Django project in the past 6 months.
Has experience with Oracle and Oracle developer tools.
Has experience in AWS Cloud Formation.
Has experience in CSS, including the design of custom CSS.
3+ years of Python experience, including frameworks other than Django (e.g. Flask).
