Title: Application On-boarding Engineers for GNCS Platform Services

 

Key qualifications:

·         Minimum 2-5 years experience of application build and release engineering in a large environment (dozens of applications and environments) including:

·         Administering RedHat Enterprise Linux (and it's variants) including Yum and RPM packaging

·         Using Rundeck to encode distributed orchestration

·         Working with the Nexus artifact repository

·         Configuring the Jenkins/Hudson continuous integration server

·         Automating Java application builds using tools such as Ant and Maven

·         Using Subversion and Git-based distributed source code control

·         Developing Puppet modules to automate application installation and configuration management

·         Particularly interested in individuals who have already worked with application teams across IS&T

 

DEVOPS  ENGINEER– SUNNYVALE, CA

·         Puppet, MCollective, Docker, Load balancing

·         Caching architectures: Netscaler, HAProxy, Nginx+, Redis,

·         Deployment technologies:, GIT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Unix GURU status,

·         Language Proficiency: Java, bash, perl, python, Ruby, Go, Bonus:, RabbitMQ, SOA, Graphite, Sensu, Mesos

 

DEVOPS (CHEF & PUPPET) DEVELOPERS:

•             6+ years of experience in Virtualization & UNIX System Administrator

•             Expertise in expertise in Linux (RedHat RHEL 6/5/4/3 & SUSE SLES 11/10/9/8), VMware vSphere ESXi 4.1/5.0/5.1 and SRM 4.5, AIX 7.1/6.1/5.x, and Windows (NT/2000/2003) Server.

•             Experience in Shell (bash, C and Ksh), Perl, Php and Python Scripting

•             Responsible for automation using Puppet Enterprise as well as system reporting
