Job Title::            Java Developer with Unix

Location::           NYC(Locals only)

Duration::           12+Months

Skills Required and Job Description:

Mandatory Technical /Functional Skills

 

At least 8 years of Enterprise System Java Development & Design experience and experience in Linux / Unix, including:

 

- Technical experience across multiple technology domains/platforms.

- Working knowledge of architectural frameworks and practices.

- Linux/Unix shell scripting, vi Editor

- Web logic

- Substantial exposure to enterprise infrastructure, data processing, enterprise software applications.

- Strong Experience with core Java

- Experience of being involved in delivering large scale distribute systems

- Experience with multi-threaded distributed systems

- Experience with messaging systems

- Development of reusable Java client libraries.

- Required: J2EE Application Development/SQL.

- Preferred: Spring MVC/Struts 2/JSF/JPA/Hibernate/Oracle Database.

- Know how to use continuous integration tools: e.g. Maven, Teamcity, Nexus/Odyssey,             Subversion/Git.

- Knowledge on "Data Visualization" tools like Tableau, Panopticon, Qlikview is a plus

- Strong interest in web technologies (HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript).

- Good experience of Java client development and Java development environment.

- Excellent communication and software Architecture and Design skills.

• Experience with legacy application transformation/modernization efforts.

• Ability to articulate ideas and/or explain complex technical issues such that both technical and non-technical addressees understand.
