Technical Architect
Duration of Hiring 3-6 Months

Technical / Functional:
• In-depth knowledge of the development of software and system architectures in Java and JEE environments delivering client specific solutions through multiple technologies
• Experience in the design of medium to large e-commerce applications
• Knowledge regarding ATG Commerce, ATG platform, ATG products and their functionality
• In-depth knowledge in the areas of ATG Merchandising, Custom Catalogues, price lists, process development, publishing, internationalization and multi-tenant architecture
• Good understanding of business processes
• Ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point, learnability in new domains, ability to create complex, large scale and software/hardware intensive solutions, ability to clearly articulate and engage technically with senior technology/management team of customers
• Appropriate knowledge of business processes in companies in the telecommunications, utilities or services sectors
• Ability to understand the client requirements and translate it in to ATG specific features/capabilities for solution delivery
• Experience in Global Delivery Model – Agile, Waterfall, Scrum Delivery Approaches
• Ideally 8-12 years of professional experience in similar environment, of which 2-3 years in the ATG
The responsibilities include:
• Development of software and system architectures in Java and JEE environments
• Analysis, design, specification and implementation of software development
• Development of system designs based on the Business Analyst team determined requirements
• Use object-oriented modelling techniques (UML)
• Data modelling and development of database access
• Coordination of the overall architecture in the Architecture Board
• Own implementation of modules
• Effective documentation of the architecture
• Agile Development/SCRUM
• Excellent understanding of the collaborative working between Business Analysts, UX and Technologists
