Job Description: We are looking for an excellent J2EE Architect for our client site Jersey City, NJ, USA. Ideal candidate will work in a team environment to develop applications and help drive design and architecture. It includes working within a team environment on coding, code reviews, performance tuning, software architecture and design. Detailed hands on knowledge of SOAP + RESTful web services and Angular JS is a must have for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Java and Web Development on the SOA platform.
• Write server-side code for web-based applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews.
• Translate wireframes, creative design, and functional requirements into functional XHTML/ CSS / JavaScript.
• Design and Develop JavaScript using standard frameworks like Angular JS /jQuery, Backbone.js, node.js etc.
• Modify existing application to align it according to new SDLC stack.
• Conduct and participate in design sessions and review design documents.
• Lead and participate in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.
• Profile application to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Debug and refactor code as needed to improve performance bottleneck.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Min 10+ years of experience in Java/ J2EE development.
• Strong experience in object oriented design , development in Java , Web services and angular js.
• Good understanding of OOPS, DB concepts.
• Good experience of Spring Frameworks (Spring MVC and Spring AOP), Struts 2.0 is also desirable.
• Good hands on skills on Angular JS or any JavaScript based UI framework.
• Advanced skills using J2EE Frameworks and Libraries specifically such as Hibernate, JPA , iBatis and JDO.
• Database development skills including SQL programming, solid understanding of database technologies, preferably on DB2 or Sybase.
• Backend and Frontend Web development experience with JSP, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, HTML, CSS.

Excellent with Maven, UML and Design Patterns.
