Job Description:
Help develop architecture, design, and development strategy for our centralized CI/CD Automation infrastructure
· Understand automation practices at an expert level and evangelize benefits of the new platform both externally and internally
· Develop automation scripts to migrate jobs from existing environments this centralized infrastructure
· Work closely with BU's to optimize builds, tests, and deployment workflows
· Help design centralize CI/CD infrastructure, and drive migration of hundreds of jobs with automation
· Focus on designing systems to build, package and deploy software that impacts millions of users
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience in software development, build, release, and automation.
· Experience across software development lifecycle: development, testing, configuration management, and deployments.
· Hands on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and others.
· Hands on experience using Cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) (3yrs)
· Use of build languages such as Ant, Maven, gradle, and grails
· Must know python, bash or perl
· SCM (Git/Perforce/Mercurial) - 3 years
· Should know 8 program languages.
