Position: Security Technical Architect
Location: Plano - TX
Contract: 9+ Months
This position is a member of the Global Enterprise Architecture organization reporting to the Global Security Architect. The resource will serve as a subject matter expert in the area of information security and technical architecture.
The resource will provide thought leadership, technical oversight, and ensure that security solutions meet the client's security requirements.
The person who fills this position will be a part of the Enterprise Architecture team and work closely with the Information Security Group.
Accountabilities –
Design, develop, and document technical architecture for security solutions with a focus on architectural standards, growth, performance, flexibility, reliability, and scalability
Consult on architecture direction and design issues as well as influence peers, cross-functional partners, and IT leadership
Assist in the performance testing and optimization of the solution
Effectively presenting facts and recommendations in oral and written form.
In depth experience in solution design, development, and deployment of large scale solutions for Fortune 500 class companies
Experience developing and deploying security solutions for vulnerability scanning, security policy compliance, and penetration testing
Expert knowledge in authentication, authorization, access provisioning, and identity integration
Experience with multi-factor and risk-based authentication
Knowledge of infrastructure, middleware, integration, and solution development
Experience with network security including firewalls, IDS, IPS, and DDOS
Experience with SIEM, security operation centers, and security analytics
Knowledge of SSO, SAML, SSL, MS Web Application Proxy, ADFS, Windows and Unix, Active Directory, LDAP-based directories, network protocols, web-based applications
Solid technical aptitude, leadership, mentoring, analytical, and customer facing skills
Good oral and written communication skills
A minimum of 10 years as an architect or senior engineer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline"
