| The Software Engineer III is responsible for supporting the information technology functions of the company in accordance with the policies and practices of -------. Description: |
| · Design, develop and test advanced projects · Develop, maintain and support client server and web application in support of company operations · Write advanced structured query language (SQL) queries and stored procedures to perform complex database tasks · Develop complex SQL server integration services (SSIS) packages for importing and exporting data · Analyze program performance and make recommendations on how to improve · Perform peer code reviews · Respond and rectify serverity level one production issues in a timely manner · Participate in analysis of information systems problems and the development of solutions to those problems · Other duties as assigned |
| Qualifications: |
| · Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required · Minimum 7 years' experience in programming capacity · A knowledgeable individual with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the healthcare, insurance or PBM industry · Advanced knowledge of multiple technology platforms and environments · Advanced development skills inclusive of project design, development and testing · Advanced skills in the following: C#, ASP, ASP.Net, Visual Studios, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 · Strong data analysis and presentation skills · An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills · Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues · A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail oriented perspective · Experienced in problem solving and able to follow a methodical implementation process · A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus · Ability to work with peers in a team effort · Demonstrated ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities · A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision · Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast paced environment · Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands · Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs. |
