Job Details:
Title : Technical Manager
Duration : Long Term
Location : Seattle, WA
Responsible for the design and implementation of software and scripts related to Media Service Platform and Workflows for the Business & Media Software Engineering group.
You will be focusing on building media service platform and file-based workflows – integrating multiple systems in a complex, multi-channel broadcast environment.
You will work with business units to understand needs and develop project requirements: designing and implementing new metadata and video file-based workflows that address media management pain-points and core system issues
You will serve as department software-development expert and lead architect, working with the team members to choose appropriate technologies for each project and formalize a long-term tech stack
Manage projects related to File Based Workflow and integration with other systems that require media information – both internal and third party affiliates
You will develop software solutions against 3rd party APIs, formalizing a design pattern for integrating with external systems and leading integration opportunities
You will identify automation opportunities within the media management space and develop maintainable software-based solutions
You will manage and coordinate software development projects, delegating responsibilities to other developers as appropriate and maintaining deliverable timelines
You are responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to all software development projects, working with team members to establish standards for all developers to follow
REQUIREMENT Details:
Over all experience should be 9 – 11 years.
At least 5+ years of software development experience
2+ years' experience in Cloud technologies.
3+ years' experience in Open Source technology such as MongoDB, Angular JS, Java
2+ years in developing Platform-As-A-Service.
3+ years in a technical lead/manager role.
Demonstrated significant and strong written communications and project management skills Strong experience working in an Agile environment
