Java Developer

6+ months

 

Job description  :

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and minimum of 5+ years experience in Java J2EE.

• Very strong experience in Spring, Struts, Hibernate, and Web services.

• Expert knowledge and capabilities in any of the ORM tools (preferably Hibernate).

• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall software development processes

• Experience with configuration management systems and concepts specifically SVN and ClearCase

• Experience in project leadership and software deployment

• Expert knowledge and capabilities in Object Oriented Analysis & Design

• Experience with one or more application servers (preferably Weblogic).

• Above average experience with enterprise level Oracle RDBMS

• Solid understanding of Internet technologies including configuration and optimization of web servers (Apache)

• Expert experience with HTML, CSS layout and Box Model, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX

• Expert knowledge of UML and design patterns.

• Prefer experience in architecting and implementing enterprise level systems.

 

Skills:

• Software Design, Implementation (i.e. coding), and Testing.

• Web development.

• Communication – be able to communicate information to persons with varying degrees of computer knowledge.

• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Organizational skills.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

• Ability to work in a large team base collaborative environment
