Senior Java Developer - Core Java with Web Development
Location: Marlborough, MA - 10062014
Duration: 4+ Months
Candidate will be required to take an IKM Test
Keys to the Position:
• Candidates must have at least 7 years of of Core Java experience
• Spring and Hibernate experience is a must
• 30% of the role will be doing Web development with Javascript, HTML, JSP's and Servlets
• Application Performance experience with JProfiler or YourKit or others is a must (We are currently using YourKit so this would be a big +)
• Experience with Tableau would be a big +
• Integration experience with a BI tool would also be a big +
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Manager is comfortable hiring via the WAVE
Job Qualifications
• The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems.
• A minimum of 5 years in systems development using Java and J2EE
• Web Development experience
• BI Integration experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with latest Java based development frameworks (e.g. Spring 3.0, Hibernate 4.0)
• Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment
• Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
• Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective application
• Computer Science degree or related field
Job Responsibilities
• As a Senior member of this team, the individual will have the following responsibilities:
• Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of financial applications
• Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements
• Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, identify issues and raise risks
• Partner with the Architecture team to ensure track work is aligned with the strategic direction of the enterprise
• Stay current with evolving industry and technical trends to ensure systems and team are of highest caliber

Key Responsibilities:
· Develops technology systems, addressing functional, security, performance, quality, monitoring needs and operation.
· Meet and resolve business needs by translating functional specifications into technical specifications
· Works with analysts to define the technical and functional needs of the organization and recommend solutions
· Design application extensions for unpackaged software to maximize supportability
Required Skills:
· 6+ years of Java programming language experience to solve large programming tasks
· 6+ years of experience with software pattern designs and Object Oriented design
· 3 years of experience with ORM/DAL such as Hibernate or myBatis
· 3 years of experience using JUnit, Spring, and Spring MVC
· 2 years of experience with ReST Web Services using a framework build on JAX-RS
· At least 1 year of experience using Maven
· Modern Development experience (Agile Sprints, Code Reviews)
· Bachelor degree in CS or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to Have:

Position 3 :
Sr. Java Developer
Located in Grand Rapids, MI
Duration: 9+ months with a November 3rd start date
Our client is looking for Senior Java Developer for a 9+ month contract assignment in Grand Rapids Mi.
This role will require the ability to modify existing code to meet new requirements and make recommendations for code changes when options for a solution exist.
Must Have:
· 6+ years of combined working experience in J2SE, J2EE, JUnit, Spring and Relational Database
· Java 6 (or above) experience and skills - required
· SQL experience and skills - required
· Spring experience and skills - required
Nice to Have:
