Role : Oracle Exadata Datawarehouse Developer

Location : Durham , NC

 

Specific skill sets include:

·         Leading Analysis effort, hands on Oracle Pl/SQL exposure a must, plus a strong sense of ownership.

·         Exposure to Oracle Exadata, Data modeling [Understanding of good database design techniques].

·         Strong communicator (oral and written), Facilitation, Collaboration & listener.

·         Reliable, thorough, fast-learner, self-motivated and a solid team player.

·         Experience in full software development lifecycle [Waterfall & Agile]. Experience with models for datamarts/warehouses/ODS, etc.

·         Web analytic experience a plus, ability to write sql to do data analysis & ability to do data profiling a must.

·         Exposure to Big-data echo systems and next generation BI tools [Pentaho, Qlikview, etc.].
 
Education and Experience

·         8+ years experience in Information Technology & delivering data solutions.

·         7+ years in data modeling [conceptual, logical and physical] and data-warehouse architecture [ e.g. dan Linstedt modeling techniques]

·         5+ years in analyses & data profiling, creating metadata for data models, MS Word and Excel, PowerPoint.

·         4+ years experience with data modelling tools such as Powerdesigner, Erwin etc.

·         Solid understandings of good database design/modelling techniques.

·         BS or MS in a technical discipline or equivalent.

·         Strong track record of successful implementation of Data projects and solutions.

·         Investment/financial services experience is desirable.
