Job Title: PeopleSoft CRM Technical Consultant

Location: : Germantown – Maryland

Position Type: Contract

Duration:  6+ months

Job Description:

·         Candidate must have extensive experience with PeopleSoft CRM application development skills, and hands on database development skills with experience with Oracle version 9i or higher.

·         The PeopleSoft development experience should include demonstrated hands-on project implementation experience within the PeopleSoft infrastructure environment, utilizing the following PeopleSoft products: PeopleTools (8.5 and above), PeopleCode, App Designer, Integration Broker, Application Engine and Component Interfaces.

·         Strong understanding and demonstrated usage of SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.Candidate must possess 5-8 years of experience in an IT Applications environment, with assignments that included system support as well as new system implementations and significant system enhancements.

·         Candidate must have demonstrated experience understanding and documenting current and proposed business processes, and interacting with users as IT translates business requirements into systems solutions.

·         Candidate must have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills to complement the above technical expertise, and have experience working on specific activities and tasks are mainly technical in nature, include:? Understand business requirements for customer service functions and convert into system level technical design with in-depth understanding of PeopleSoft CRM BORM (business object relationship model)?

·         Develop solutions using PeopleSoft Application Designer and other PeopleSoft delivered tools like Application Engine, Application Package and Integration Broker?

·         Create test plans and coordinate testing within the team and business group?

·         Document ongoing system enhancements and any system issues, and coordinate with manager to fit these into future planned migration releases?

·         Providing input and in some situations take lead on creating user manuals and/or user training material to medium size project teams (4-15 team members)DESIRED SKILLS: Expertise in any of the following technologies would be highly desirable: Windows O/S as well as Unix skills including scripting and CRON scheduling; Java / J2EE / JMS; XML; and proficiency with the Microsoft Office toolkit (especially Excel as it is integrated into business applications).
