Skills Required

• Experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2005/ 2000 Database Administration (8+ years);
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
• Experience with SQL Server Configuration Manager;
• Experience with SQL Server Surface Area Configuration;
• Experience with SQL Enterprise Manager;
• Experience with SQL Query Analyzer;
• Experience with SQL Profiler;
• Experience with Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS);
• Experience with Integration Services (SSIS);
• Experience with Reporting Services (SSRS);
• Experience with Analysis Services (SSAS);
• Experience with Apex SQL Log;
• Experience with T-SQL;
• Experience with PL/SQL;
• Experience with Visual Studio.Net 2003, 2005 & 2008, ASP.Net, ADO.Net and IIS.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide SQL Server database administration services;
• Support all phases of database administration: installation, configuration, logical and physical database design, writing stored, performance tuning, procedures, triggers, security, troubleshooting, and managing recovery plans and backup;
• Provide reports and write scripts and advanced queries;
• Administrate SQL Server Databases;
• Monitor database performance and tune databases.
