Job Title: Sr. MySQL Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description:-
Senior MySQL Engineer will engineer and sustain various MySQL databases that support the Cox High Speed Data, Telephone, and Video product lines.
They will lead the design, testing and documentation of these MySQL implementations through the existing Development, Quality, and Performance environments and provide documentation and best practices for the Technology Operations teams for production deployment.
They will also research new technologies and solutions for forward-looking design considerations as the platforms evolve.
Required Skills:-
8+ years of MySQL engineering and administration experience on RHEL 5/6 platforms.
5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
Experience with designing and implementing MySQL HA solutions using DRBD, Corosync, and Pacemaker.
Strong working knowledge of Solaris and Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, engineering and architecture.
Experience with network troubleshooting at the server level and understanding of Load Balancer and Firewall functionality.
Requires strong knowledge of UNIX (RHEL 5/6 and Solaris 10).
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
