Network Tester
Location : Durham, NC
Duration : 6 months

 

Software Quality Assurance Engineer – WLAN on a contract basis to join a highly focused and professional software protocol/product test team engaged in testing and quality assurance of embedded wireless networking solutions. Successful candidates will have specific knowledge of the internal operation of Ethernet switching, WLAN, Access Points as well as scripting languages.

 

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a manual/automated software testing environment; WLAN is required.
Direct experience with wireless networking products and protocols is required.
Experience with IxVeriWave, Wired networking tools like IXIA/Spirent or other test tools a plus
Must be fluent in Linux (Administration/Shell Scripting), Python, or any other scripting language
Highly motivated self-starter; ability to use own initiative, in-depth protocol knowledge to debug issues, drive decisions and solve problems.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field is required, Masters desired.
Experience with automated testing design of complex software features.
