Role: Network Security Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description::
• Act as primary onshore ESS Operations contact for all P1 Recovery Management incidents and any associated meetings/conference calls to drive return to service, investigate root cause and contribute to any Problem Management initiatives to prevent P1 recurrence.
• Provide reporting on a monthly basis to demonstrate the continuous engagement and drive with other teams for technical and process improvements within Operations.
• Be the escalation point for all ESS efforts in the PST time zone. Determine when NetApp Resources need to be called in and who should be called in.
• Ensure all tickets are resolved within the agreed SLA. Monitor and as time allows resolve tickets in the L2/L3 Security Queue.
• Provide assistance and mentoring to ESS L2/L3 Engineers. Validate Work Instructions for Requests made to ESS Operations.
• Provide work instructions to L2/L3 resources for complex tasks.
• Be exceptional at deploying and troubleshooting McAfee MWG, PAN Firewall, McAfee, IDP, Cisco ASA, Juniper SA, Juniper Firewall and other NetApp security devices.
• Take the lead in problem resolution on critical security systems. Be on team experts in routing, switching, OSPF, BGP and other core network technologies.
• Follow the complete ITSM process as defined by client
• Preferred - Working knowledge on ticketing tool SERVICE NOW
Skills Required::
• Basic knowledge of Networking. Dynamic Routing Protocols OSPF, BGP. IPSEC VPN
• Good working knowledge on Juniper Netscreen Firewall. Good working knowledge on Juniper SRX Firewall
• Good working knowledge on Palo Alto Firewall. Working knowledge on Cisco ASA (AnyConnect)
• Working knowledge Juniper SA (SSL VPN). McAfee Web Gateway, McAfee IDP
• Knowledge on IPv6 firewall would be a great advantage. Knowledge in Monitoring Tools like Net Flow, Cacti, Omnibus.
