Job Title: .Net Solution Architect
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 06+ month contract
Job Description:
Responsible for conceptualizing and designing detailed solutions for Finance Grid specific projects – including application and software architecture.
Will provide technical leadership to ensure technical design and implementation are aligned with and implemented to meet business requirements.
Must Have:-
Experience in designing and developing High Performance Computing (HPC) platform solutions.
Experience in designing and deploying applications in Cloud Architectures.
Additional Requirements:-
Microsoft Stack expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server 2008/2012.
Experience in application development using .Net or comparable language.
Must proactively explore new and emerging technologies, synthesizes recommendations, and experienced in influencing stakeholders and leadership of the benefits to Ameriprise, guiding broader adoption.
Must communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, piers, and leadership driving results and action.
Must have strong business acumen and the ability to identify key issues and the ability to identify key issues and their impact in a broad business context.
Candidate must be able to translate technology into business terms and value, history of influencing and improving business solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; or related work experience.
Skills in general architecture, operations, and deployment methodologies and techniques (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, MOF).
Solid understanding and applied expertise in solutions architecture designs and concepts, which include but are not limited to: SDLC Process, Security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture.
