Title: Configuration Manager with Clear Case and Clear Quest
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Description:
looking for a Configuration Manager with mid to Sr. level Clear Case and Clear Quest skills as well as RAD and CM in a Java environment.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to design and manage the software builds through the release cycle to insure effective and repeatable procedure.
This position requires interaction with other team members in Development, Operations, QA and Configuration Management to control releases, maintain source code and improve process.
Knowledge of software configuration, source control, code merging, build engineering, scripting and system administration are required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Computer Science
5+ years CM/Build Release experience
Experience with Linux and Java web development
Proven expertise using and supporting ClearCase and ClearQuest
Ideal candidates will have experience with many of the following technologies: ClearCase/ClearQuest, WebSphere, Tomcat, Ant scripting, Visual Source Safe, Shell scripting, VBScript, IIS, Tomcat, Oracle 10g RAC, and IBM HTTP Server.
Ability to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast paced environment
Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills
Build automation experience is a plus
Former programming background is a plus
Project management background/skills is a plus
