Reporting Relationship Development Manager
Primary Purpose of Position A core member of the IT Development Team, responsible for designing and building business applications in several different languages and technologies, that enable business users to operate the enterprise efficiently and accurately.
The Developer will work both independently and within a team, creating new functionality or major changes to functionality, while developing and cultivating customer relationships. Additionally, the developer will be responsible to follow all departmental governance and also contribute to improving same through new ideas and suggestions.
Duties and Responsibilities · Design solutions to business requirements · Build solutions in a structured manner, according to specifications and using best practice techniques · Support team members and aide their development as technical professionals · Take a leadership role in small projects from inception to delivery · Provide technical input as appropriate to formulate integrated solution delivery · Interacting with internal customers and translate their business requirements into successful implementations · Maintain (respond to break fix tickets) existing business applications · Provide operational and production support of normal business operations · Available via phone for technical support during non-business hours. Knowledge and Skill · 3 - 5 years of related experience required. · Ability to work well within a diverse team. · Project management exposure and experience a plus · Ability to learn new technologies/applications quickly. · Proven interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and prioritization skills a must. · Ability to take ownership of applications and tasks to completion
Software knowledge required for this position: · Proficiency in ASP.Net with an emphasis on C# required. · Technical proficiency in web applications and technologies including, but not limited to: XML, XHTML (including various extensions), XSLT, CSS, jQuery, Ajax, MVC and HTTP. · Experience in MS-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio, with emphasis on Stored Procedures, User Functions, and CLR · Experience preferred with various technologies such as Web Services, Web Content Management, site optimization, classic ASP. |
