Position: Linux Admin

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 3 months

 

Overall 5 years of demonstrated experience in Linux environment.

Installing, Configuring and Maintaining RHEL servers.

Experience in LVM And Clusters

Knowledge of validation of servers.

Knowledge of server installation and recovery, LVM concepts, backups, network concepts-NIS, NFS, TCPIP, routing.

Knowledge on logical partitioning desirable

Configuring the Apache Web server, Samba server, NFS shares, FTP server, LDAP server and ISCSI.

Configuring LVM, NTP, Cronjobs.

Experience on Virtualization & Server sizing is desirable

Modifying Kernel parameters, Package/Patch Administration

Strong in troubleshooting H/W and Operating System issue.

Understanding of NAS and SAN Storage.

Knowledge in writing scripts.

Certification on Linux is a plus.

To participate & Work with Local & Global team.

Ready to take additional challenges.

Good Project Management skills.

Working on DR Drills.
