| Role and Responsibilities · Support MysQL databases in a high performance large scale deployment · Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity planning · Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability · Optimizing changes and performance tuning · Install/configure tools such as MySQL Enterprise Monitor or other tools · Implement backups · Performance troubleshooting of various issues · Resolve regular support calls generated through monitoring systems
Please list 5 mandatory “MUST HAVE” skills and experience for this requirement. Please include skills related to technical as well as domain and non-technical skills and experience as applicable to the position. · 6-8 Years of DBA experience in big OLTP environments · MySQL basic concepts · MySQL high availability (Master/Slave, Clustering, DRBD) · Performance tuning · Database setups in high availability configuration · Backup and Recovery of MySQL databases · Strong communication and coordination skills Please list 5 “NICE TO HAVE” but not mandatory skills and experience for this requirement
