Position: Ab Initio Designer /Developer
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Length: 6 months w/option for additional time
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
The consultant will provide design, develop and implement a scalable, reliable and extensible financial
ETL application platform. Will be responsible for integrating data into the existing Data Warehouse built during the first 3 years of this client engagement
Requirements:
1. Must have exp 3-5 yrs exp creating high level and detailed ETL designs using Ab Initio.
a. Capable of coding Ab Initio graphs with some supervision and moderately detailed specifications.
b. Capable of moderate shell scripting.
2. Must be able to perform the following activities including: .
a. Consultant will gather requirements & Create high level and detailed ETL designs.
b. Collaborate with client designers.
c. Develop complex graphs, re-usable components.
d. Strong knowledge and use of full lifecycle development methodologies, standards and procedures
e. Conduct code reviews.
3. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
5. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
