Job Description:
Develops technical vision and roadmaps without supervision. Writes for publication. Shares long-term technical and business vision to large audiences on a regular basis. Makes decisions of a global, strategic nature by analyzing complex data systems and incorporating knowledge of other lines of business. Is recognized as a positive leader and is capable of defusing complicated interpersonal issues while managing customer expectations. Spearheads complex programs that span multiple inter-organizational units and interfaces with more experienced management. Is a leader in identifying critical, high pay-off technology strategies and prioritizes team efforts accordingly. Possesses advanced knowledge of business application and services. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.

(9) Technical certifications as required. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource.
Additional Skills: ;
7+ years of SAN Storage Administration experience.
7+ years of storage administration experience with HDS/EMC/NetApp.
3+ year of SAN &Storage design/ experience
Working knowledge of Hitachi and EMC tools(HDvM, HTnM and DFM)
Strong experience with Cisco or Brocade SAN fabric.
Experience in dealing change control.
Multi path technologies, Volume Manager (VxVM) experience required; and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) or other High-availability service.
SAN experience on 200+ TB of storage across multiple subsystems.
Creating scripts for process automation and monitoring (using shell, perl or C language).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and implement SAN storage infrastructure solutions, including integration with third party software and hardware.
Serve as technical liaison with SAN engineering, project managers, system administrators, database and application teams during all phases of new projects, from design through implementation.
Develop and prepare solution designs and operational documentation required to support engineered solutions to production support teams.
Interface with engineering, production support and vendors to identify technical and practical solutions applicable to the business needs.
Provide technical leadership within the SAN Implementation Engineering team.Identify and develop innovative process and procedural improvements, tools and capabilities.Develops technical vision and roadmaps without supervision.
