Job Title : Mainframe DBA
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+ months

Responsible for physical data base design, implementation, and support on specific data base technologies; designs and implements
back-up, recovery, archiving and conversion strategies.
• Identify innovative, cost effective ways to implement and support physical data bases technologies.
• Develop staff to assure replacements are in place.
• Provide or recommend required training programs for developing appropriate skills within data base technologies.
* Perform administrative functions related to database support and project activities.
• Establish activity/project timetables.
• Initiate activities and projects related to areas of responsibility.
• Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business.
- DB2 - Q Replication - z/OS and Solaris
Responsibilities include day to day support of the VSD DBA support tickets, project development work as assigned, daily interaction
with application staff, and participation in the 24x7 on call rotation.
