Senior Software Developer Contract
Location: Glen Mills, PA
Duration: Until Dec 2013 at least
MUST BE GC EAD / Green Card Holder !
They will do a phone screen first and then in person. No remote work. No Skype interviews.
Position Summary |
The senior software developer will be part of the Investment Markets team and will assist in application development and support initiatives. The individual will adhere to established standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
The individual will be required to participate in requirement envisioning sessions, contribute during application design phase, write code and participate in code review with various internal and offshore development teams and report the health of ongoing projects back to the management.
Responsibilities |
The individual will be responsible for:
Participate in requirement gathering and solution envisioning sessions.
Communicate and document design decisions with pros and cons of various options.
Participate in application development initiatives.
Adopt to well establish development methodologies.
Participate in deployment and support activities.
Development of software components to be reused across various projects.
Write unit tests
Requirements |
At least 7+ years of software development experience developing and implementing enterprise-grade, n-tier, and web-based software solutions.
In-depth knowledge of .NET framework, and a CLR compliant language (C#).
Hands-on expertise in implementing web applications and windows native applications.
Experience developing enterprise grade, multi-threaded applications.
Experience with SQL Server database programming (ADO.net, T-SQL).
In-depth knowledge of Language-Integrated Query (LINQ).
Thorough understanding of XML and related technologies.
Experience developing applications with Silvelight, a plus.
In-depth knowledge of OO concepts and patterns.
Fundamental understanding of SOA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent work ethic with team-player qualities a must.
