Location : Brentwood, NY
Duration : 12+Month Contract
Need a technical senior java expert developer/analyst who can set up java project team and lead team in a hands on java developer leadership role
Experiences on working on large scale self service applications as a J2EE developer with emphasis on Message Oriented Middleware, Data Caching, Spring or other application frameworks.
Job Purpose:
Senior Java Developer: The Java Experts possess technological skills that cover a great number of application servers, frameworks, databases, libraries, components and technologies. The team carefully analyzes business requirements and ensures that customers gain an optimal technology for the required solution. To handle your project in the most cost-effective way, the team is able to apply RUP, Agile (Scrum, FDD, XP) and V-Model project management/development methodologies depending on project type and priorities
Must haves: struts, spring, hibernate, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL
Need architecture: SOA,RAD
Duties: * Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; Determining design methodologies and tool sets;
Completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
