Location: San Antonio TX and OH

1.            Need a senior business analyst for data warehouse team. Ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in the P&C industry

2.            The BA will be working with the Enterprise Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence team and must have knowledge of the broad P&C spectrum. Prior experience in a similar project is required

3.            Experience in gathering and maintaining data focused requirements for reporting, data marts, data warehouses etc. Knowledge of data modeling, data design, data schema development is  plus

4.            Should be self starter, driven individual with ability to take ownership for tasks and see them through completion

5.            Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Ability to work in matrixed organization including with co-located and offshore vendor teams

6.            Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

8.            Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

9.            Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs, functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs. Provide status reports to project stakeholders
