Software and Scripting Consultant

Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

Note:

·         Bash shell scripts, VMware, Rational ClearCase

·         Experience with Automated Build Systems.

·         Operating systems are Linux & Windows. C# is a plus - will not be doing any C# CODING.

 

Candidate will be responsible for performing complex and non-complex configuration management, documentation management and administrative support for the Control and Visualization Business Unit (CVB) of Rockwell Automation. Candidate may also perform non-complex change request verifications, release testing and beta support for assigned products. This position will operate under moderately close supervision.

EXPERIENCE:
§ Experience with Rational ClearCase, CruiseControl, and VMware

§ Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows 7 and XP.
§ Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio.
§ Familiarity with the Linux environment

§ Experience writing scripts with bash shell commands

§ Experience writing C# code

§ Possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
§ Must be self-motivated, capable of performing and making decisions in a dynamic environment.
§ Must be able to handle multiple assignments while meeting planned completion dates with minimal supervision.
§ Experience with Rockwell Automation products is beneficial.
