Skill set/ Task Description:

 

Looking for candidate with proven results in delivering testing solutions across multiple concurrent work efforts. Specific experience with System Testing, Implementation Testing, Non-Functional and Performance Testing, Environment Management (Configuration Management), Test Automation, Test Management Tooling, Progress Reporting, and Use of metrics for tactical and strategic decision making are key here.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

•             Oversees System, Regression and UAT aspects of testing for Development center for specific Phases.

•             Ensures the appropriate test deliverables are created and reviewed.

•             Works with Development Center Test Manager and the Test Planner to obtain and assign appropriate resources to the test effort

•             Schedules and plans the test effort

•             Resolves scheduling and resource conflicts

•             Manages and acts as consultant to all the testing personnel within Development Center

•             Works with appropriate personnel to ensure test environment is ready. This includes hardware, software, files, procedures, and personnel used for the execution of the test

•             Coordinates the creation of generic data needed for testing

•             Evaluates the efficiency of testing controls and recommends appropriate changes

•             Uses problem solving skills, technical knowledge, and available tools to assist in identifying and resolving problems encountered during the execution of the test

•             Monitors and ensures resolution of problems encountered (via defect-tracking) during testing and necessary recovery procedures required

•             Tracks and communicates testing information, status, and problems encountered to Development Center and Release test leadership.

•             Documents results and summarizes testing effort including successes, major problems, and recommendations for future tests
