The Rational Applications Architect demonstrates technical leadership in driving SDLC business goals, programs, and processes through leverage of deep understanding of Rational tool and SDLC subject-matter knowledge. In this role, Rational Architect will utilize experience or expertise to solve process and technical problems,
develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Responsible for the Cummins Rational application architecture, configuration, and future software version planning, conforming to established Cummins enterprise architecture standards and practices
Serve as technical owner and expert and the integrity of the data and enterprise Rational data model
Lead in the definition of systems solutions to Rational & SDLC functional problems and Metadata standardization by providing technical expertise in mapping and analysis
Responsible for technical architecture design, data modeling, physical design, technology strategy, managing contractors within budgets and will play a key role in engaging many parts of the information technology organization to ensure the integrity of SDLC is maintained and roll-outs are successful
Participate in business process evaluation / improvement activities,
