About the Role:
Candidate will be responsible for configuring, tuning, securing, operating and monitoring core SAP enterprise applications built upon ECC 6.0, BW 7.0, HCM 5.0, CRM 7.0 and Enterprise Portal on Linux and Oracle platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with both technical and functional teams to ensure the success of the overall solution.
- The candidate must be well versed with SAP ECC6.0, BW 7.0 and EP environment and have familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting SAP technical issues.
- On call weekend and after hours support is required on as needed basis.
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
- At least 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration and operational control for support and maintenance of mission critical SAP applications.
- Bachelor's degree in related professional discipline is required
- 3+ years of experience with SAP ECC 6.0/5.0, BW 7.0, HR, CRM, and SAP Enterprise Portal on Unix/Linux and Oracle database
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving, teamwork, decision-making, time management, and verbal and written communications
- Good interpersonal skills to assist with communications with IT and Business staff and their management who are working under tight deadlines and considerable pressure
