Location: Culver City, CA.
Duration: 3 months
Key: Digital Asset Management experience or entertainment - movie/TV
Interviewing process: Phone interview and the face to face
The Software Engineer will be responsible for:
* Providing/anticipating technical decisions regarding design of each solution.
* Communicating effectively with all areas of IT and its customers.
* Interpreting/defining user requirements for technical specifications.
* Converting user requirements to use cases and test cases and technical design specifications.
* Providing oral and written status reports to IT management and customers.
The Software Engineer must have the following knowledge, skill and experience:
* 5+ years of hands-on development experience using J2EE technologies.
* 3+ years working knowledge of HTML, Jquery, JavaScript, CSS.
* 3+ years Oracle database skills and Stored Procedures skills.
* Solid working knowledge of Struts.
* Solid grasp of OOA and OOP concepts.
* Strong knowledge of J2EE design patterns.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Math.
* Knowledge of web services.
The ideal candidate will also have:
* Experience with Movie and Television business.
* Experience with user interface and navigation best practices and techniques.
* Experience on building web application End to End
* J2EE/Struts framework 1
* Axis Web service (Both service and client)
* Oracle and Stored procedure.
* Html, Css, javascript
* Jquery
* Apache Tomcat server
