Lead Java Developer

Location: NYC,NY
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Duties:

Lead the core IT framework team for chase auto finance
Manage a team of 3-4 senior software engineers
Lead the framework development efforts in the following areas:
User interface framework using HTMl5/mobile/JSF/GWT frameworks
Server side framework development using Spring, Hibernate, JMS, No SQL framework
Data model development and governance, Caching and Big Data
Third party products including BRMS/BPM solutions.
Review business requirements and specification and size the effort required to build common/Core framework components
Participate in design and development efforts.
Lead Stress and performance testing efforts for all java/j2ee initiatives
Lead capacity planning

 

Qualification:
• Masters degree in computer science is required
• 12+ years of IT experience
• Prior track record leading a framework/design team using agile methodologies in 2 or 3 major SDLC initiatives
• SME in Front end, backend technologies and framework
• Startup experience/core committer of any major open source software framework/application
• Thorough work knowledge of the following technologies: JSF/GWT/HTML5/Android or IOS programming, Spring, hibernate, JMS, Terracotta/Coherence, Hadoop, Data Grid and caching framework, BRMS, BPM and Restful/SOAP web services
• 2+ years of BRMS experience
• 2+ years of BPM experience
• 10+ years of Java experience
• Successful transactional caching implementation experience in 1 or more projects
• 5+ years of Spring, hibernate experience
• 5+ years of expertise in design patterns and UML
• Hands-on development experience
